I found that one can easily model a leading-edge ballast weight thanks to the new features in PreVABS 1.2.
However, when the ballast weight is modeled inside another leading-edge filling material, a structural elastic behavior imposes some stiffness, which results in a non-negligible level of stress and strain.
Is it possible to add any non-structural ballast weight in the current version of preVABS?
Currently the workaround is to modify the properties of the material filled in the leading mass. For instance, you can try to assign very small values to the modulus of the material.
